Is there any encrypted or secure forum software?
I’m looking for some sort of secure or encrypted forum software, offering high security, safe enough to handle financial information. I don’t even want to try phpBB or vBulletin or anything, unless there exists some mod to implement some sort of public/private key or SSH tunnel or what not.
Thanks,
Dan P
I’m not sure if what I’m looking for is clear. I’m trying to find some forum software that implements high security, along the lines of a SSH shell or some powerful encryption algorithm. I’m looking to protect the content in the forum, not just the forum itself.

hamachi is vpn software
SMF 1.1 RC2 has phpRaid <= 3.0.b3 (phpBB/SMF) Remote File Inclusion Vulnerabilities
and yahoo search engine sucks my chode
what i would recommend is going old school and setting up a BBS that users connect to (take yourself off the internet)
Be sure to create a secure means of connection (avoid telnet)
Obscure port assignments
Impliment PKI and encryption
and if you want to get nifty use SSO or biometrics
If you secure your network (ie honeypots, ids, firewall, ips, etc.) and you ensure your clients are careful about information disclosure, you will be more secure then most.
good luck.
