I want to host files on my webspace. What script or program do I need. Not one of the actual website ones…?

I dont want one that makes a whole site for you. I just want somthing like the PHPbb forums. But to host files. Not big ones maybe 2mb at the most. But most of the files being KB in size.

    Sounds like all you need is a hosting account. Check out Godaddy’s hosting at https://www.godaddy.com/gdshop/hosting/landing.asp?ci=415
    They offer something called Metropolis which includes over 30 different software packages for FREE! what they offer in the way of PHP will blow the PHPbb out of the water. I use it! I love it! Metropolis page https://www.godaddy.com/gdshop/hosting/metropolis.asp?ci=8107
    Do a bit of research. This is likely what you are looking for.

    You can upload your files to some free hosting sites like http://www.rapidshare.com
    They will provide you the link to your files and you can download them anytime.
