I am starting a free forum host and wonder how can I imbed Ads into the tempates?

I know about overall_header and overal_footer, but is this the only place I can add them, they look ugly (my test forum http://phpbb.bar666.com). Advice for phpbb and smf greatfully recieved.

    I know there is a plugin for vBulletin that will autopost an ad block after every first post in a new thread. I would imagine there is the same type of plugin for the software you’re looking at.

    I think smf is being more actively developed at the moment, so check around the simplemachines.org website, and if in doubt, post on their formus with your question.

    After all, if you’re starting forums, you should be comfortable with asking questions on other forums!
