SERVER emulator software for Windows? i want to try things out like cPANEL JOOMLA CMS etc?

just to be able to try out this stuff before publishing it, i figure if i run it on my computer its way faster than trying things out uploading and downloading them from someone elses, but i have windows, so how could i run this stuff only to test stuff out?

    You only need to install web server software to your machine. Windows has IIS as the default web server. From experience, configuring IIS for PHP and MySQL is one hell of a task. I’d advise you to disable IIS (if installed) then download and install Apache web server, PHP, and MySQL. Better and much easier, download XAMPP. XAMPP bundles together Apache, php and MySQL and a host of helpful tools. Get XAMPP from http://www.apachefriends.org.
    With XAMPP (or Apache) running, you are ready to roll. Joomla, Mambo, and many other open source CMS are PHP based and will run well in Apache/XAMPP.
