How do I get rid of an old website?
I don’t know much about how this works, but I made an old newspaper website for my school with a ridiculously dorky domain name. It’s hosted by Joomla in case that changes anything. Now the school doesn’t want the website anymore (because that particular newspaper was canceled) and I don’t want to continue paying for. Meanwhile I’ve turned it into a blog of sorts but I would really like one with a different domain name. How do I entirely obliterate this website?
How do I add new articles to my Joomla site?
So I have a website in Joomla. The template is air, don’t know if it matters. I have several folders, say A, B, C. Inside A I wanna post a new article called 11. It’s not showing up at the page. Wtf? Can someone please help me?
Joomla cms Vs dreamweaver?
I am using joomla website but i am thinking lately if the aim is to have absolute design freedom in building a site than maybe i should turn into dreamweaver.
What is your opinion about the matter?
Let us forget the convenience of joomla for a while and let our criteria be the freedom in creativity.

Joomla is unable to connect with mysql database hosted in another server?
We have deployed the Joomla CMS in yahoo server. Required database settings done in "configuration.php" file.But it is not connected to the mysql database and shows "Database Error: Unable to connect to the database:Could not connect to MySQL".
Please note that our database is deployed in another server(‘http://www.example.com/subdomain’). We have mentioned this as our $hostname in configuration file. But it is not connecting.
