Mostly for students in my programming class. Part 2 – This walks you through how to setup the software. nVU, Notepad++, PHP Designer are straight forward. WinLAMP has a few more options.

    I think the part about username = root and pass = mysql was slightly off. The config was asking for a new username and pass to keep your server secure, not for the current ones. You kept them default by reentering the same ones again.

    Yea, I actually knew that but I thought it was kind of obvious so I didn’t mention it any further but yes, the default password should be changed.
