Get started with PHP by installing a webserver with PHP and MySQL support. For ease of use and convenience, i’ll be showing you how to install XAMPP available from www.apachefriends.org

    the computer can’nt hold 2 server in 1 pc > but i think you can if you put 1 server in 1 partion & anther with anthor partion > all wishes

    is “ConTEXT” a standard edit program of XAMPP??

    context is editor program and it is having the format of Php when ur going to save it
    it helps you to select php format and then save or you have seen the problem when u r saving the file of notepad in .php

    hi all there.. somebody can help me? when i try out the phpinfo.php file does not appers nothing only a white background. somebody can help me? i did restart to my pc but happends nothing… all remained the same. :\

    its no different to notepad apart from the code lines, and the handy highlighter for php, you can save notepad as php by putting .php at the end of the name xD

    when i access localhost on Explorer it doesnot come up. instead this AVG thing came up and they directly sent me back to the previous page. help?

    Hi phpacademy

    after installing and getting the splash screen and selecting english it says installed. Note pad to write the phpinfo.php brings up blank screen instead of info as you have.. ive got 1.7.3 using winxp.. window ie shows certificate error.

    can you shed any light please?
