    im still watching these awesome tuts, and they’re really helpful, if i (an 8th grader) can easily understand this, then i think that anyone can :-). buy what if you want to specify a specific piece of text to stylize? (may be in later vid, i’m currently on the on that im commenting on). thank you

    thanks bucky, found a cool use for this instantly which worked.

    var email = prompt(“enter email”)
    if (email.indexOf(“@”) == -1)
    {
    alert(“bad email address format”)
    }

    could also string this with operators such as || to test multiple condition violations. Anyhow thanks
