Sup guy, welcome to part 3. This tutorial mainly goes over uses of the focus attack as well as baiting. As you can see I finally got a capture card so quality is pretty good, HD is crystal clear! Combos that I prefer when I get FA lvl2: fa lvl 2, f+hp, s.mk, hp shoryuken. And with 2 meters I do….fa lvl 2, f+hp, s.mk, hadouken, SADC, c.hp, shoryuken. I hope you guys liked this one, really tried to explain some tactics of how to use FA in a defensive manner instead of just offensive. People asked me about options regarding the blocked shoryuken….I gave the 2 options as throw, or shoryu again. This creates a 50/50 mixup, and the important thing to know is that if you have another 2 stock, you can BAIT your opponent to think you’ll THROW after the sadc, instead you SRK, SADC, ULTRA instead. At the same time, it should also be said that THIS mixup can ALSO be applied when doing a regular blocked FA lvl 2, dash in (same thing as creating srk, sadc basically) As far as baiting, that one is a horse of a different color, but when used correctly, you learn how to destroy your opponent past the game itself. You’ll find that your beating the PLAYER, not just winning a match in the game. I know that doesn’t make sense to most, but hopefully it will to others.
