ASP.NET Login Control

In this video i show you how you can set up a basic membership system from the powerful ASP.NET configuration tool. In this demo i’m using Visual Web Developer 2008, 2005 will work just fine the same way.

hey man, i really need help:

I have a godaddy website and I need to upload a website I created from visual web developer. how do I?

You need to go through the documentation from your hosting account for a connection string.
The only thing i use godaddy for is to purchase my domains than get hosting elsewhere.
Once you get the connection string from your host you need to modify the connection string in the web.config file as i’m assuming you’re using databases.

    hi!
Thats a really useful video but my visual web developer won’t let me create a user, as it is unable to connect to the SQL database…. I have all my data saved in microsoft access. How would I link these two?? I basically have to create a facebook resembling site for my campus.
I would greatly appreciate this help :D
