@DLbeat SXC can be hit-or-miss, but the quality of images for free makes it worth the not-so-great speeds. Of course that is also an issue because of the amount of traffic the site gets. All things considered it’s a great site!

@CT2507 Thanks for the kind words, I’d be nice if you’d explain what I need to do to make my neon look less “crappy”.

@psoapsoa :D Made me laugh.

@EndreBjorgo I would try going Edit>Fill and choose a color that way. I should know what this issue is, but off the top of my head it’s just not coming to me…

@karrotsrkool I’m on the CS5 boat already, but I can’t tell you much more than that. I have some other-than-photoshop tutorial lined up to go soon.

@CushFilez Absolutely, do whatever you think looks great!

@LoganTuningShowTV I was thinking the same thing when I looked back at the video, but by then it was recorded and done. Good set of creative eyes you’ve got there.

@tutvid I just finished the Apple grungy background type one, except I tried to base mine around StarCraft. I used a silhouette of a Terran Ghost and instead of a car grill I used a dropship. :)
@tutvid i already told u it looks 2d. cant explain what u must do as i dont work with photoshop. work on the lights and shadings to make it look 3d.
The holes ruin it up lol
The zigzag is quite useful! thanks!
@tutvid Don’t get me wrong, I love the site. I think it was the “traffic” issue. By the way, I love all you tutorials. Keep up the good work!
hey on 19:20 how do u select the three layers?i cant get get it. respond fast.
@tutvid hahah thanks… I guess…
thats nice!
Hey man.
I am a ninth grader and I have been in a Graphic Design class for a couple weeks and we get to mess around with photoshop. Man, all I do is just follow your tutorials and it helps me so much. Keep up the good work!
very awesome video! both this one, and the gear one. I asked for more photoshop tuts and you delivered! awesome! you do a great job man. don’t stop, you’re helping a lot of people out. hope to see even more in the very near future.
again, thank you!
That’s awesome :D The holes look like they should be 3D on here, a if it’s a pouch. If you want to follow along with that, just paint little white sections (not too big of course opacity of around 50-60) on the side of the hole and then use the smudge tool and kinda zig-zag it to give it more of a 3D look.
To make it look more like a hole, you should just try to make the colours fade a little more (become darker as it gets to the hole) and give the edges of the hole a smoother look.
Excellent Video ! thanks for taking the time to make it.
the next time.! do it in 3 videos.!
Pretty cool
O_o why would a neon light cast a shadow?
Can you provide other photo link that does not require logins.
@minxamo All light produces a shadow or glare.
